PLEASE ALSO NOTE IN GENERAL THAT THE SHIRTING AND KNITWEAR IS DESIGNED TO BE QUITE FITTED AND SLIM CUT. IF IN DOUBT GO A SIZE UP, OR SPEAK TO US FIRST!
Chest
For your chest size, place tape measure loosely under the arms (over the shoulder blades) around the fullest part of the chest.
All measurements in inches. All our actual chest size measurements below are taken at a point one inch below the arm hole. Actual chest measurements always take into account breathing space when wearing the garment and room for a shirt/sweater underneath.
Collar
Collar measurements are all exact and if you usually take a 15.5 neck shirt, then add an inch to that for your ideal collar size, it will give you room to breathe.
Body
Measured at back of garment from center back collar to center back tail hem.
Waist
Measure around the natural waist keeping the tape measure slightly loose.
Sleeve Length
Measure a shirt or jacket that fits you well as follows: Lay the shirt or jacket flat. Measure from the centre of the back (not the shoulder), just below the collar, to the point of the shoulder, then down to the tip of the cuff.
Inside Leg
Find a pair of well fitting trousers. Place on a flat surface and measure from where the seams meet at the crotch to the bottom of the trouser.
Head
Measure the circumference of the head at a point 1cm above the ear.
